All Your Base Are Belong to IGE

This sounds silly but I’ll report for what it’s worth.

Recently this piece of story was extensively discussed pretty much everywhere:

“With Thottbot, Blizzard has to listen to IGE. Moreover, the bottom line is that IGE knows that if other companies start selling virtual currency, they will kill IGE. So the idea is to become a service instead of a product. IGE provides the backend service to developers. Developers give the official line so that using any other company will get you banned. Using IGE = okay. So if game companies say no to IGEs offer, they unleash ads on sites like Thottbot. On the internet, branding is more important than anything else. It is not like the real world where someone may stumble upon your store and eat your yummy sandwhiches. On the internet you have to get your name out and if the only name people see is IGE, and they see it on very legitimate and popular websites as Thottbot and Ogaming, why wouldn’t they use their service? Best of all for IGE, there is no competition now that there seems to be no competition for IGE that poses a threat”

Today I find this funny declaration along with the discovery of another new ALL-GRRLS gaming site (and with content!). Here’s the news:

Through various official sources, I found out today that IGE is trying to buy out many of the affiliated Vanguard fansites. This comes after a very candid and direct interview with Cindy Bowens of Sigil Games concerning their policy on IGEĆ¢
