Really. The frustration isn’t about seeing peoples telling that my ideas are shit, that I’m stupid, a looser or whatever. That’s quite normal, in particular on the internet where what matters is HOW you write something and not WHAT you write.

But it’s not the point. What is damn frustrating is to see peoples that completely misunderstand me. Completely. I see peoples in forums saying “hey, HRose is saying blabla..” but the blabla is usually too far from what I wrote. Completely different.

I’m not able to explain myself. Peoples aren’t able to really understand what I write. At the end I’m not a stupid based on the quality of what I am, but on absolute misinterpretations.

It is scary.

Just a quick note after watching the olympics:

The globalization isn’t about making everything the same. It’s about revindicate the differences as qualities, being proud of them.

A positive value where the difference is. Not homogenization.

After realizing that talking and discussing is worth zero I’ve decided to stop. Peoples will understand and accept only what they already think.

I’ll focus on play World of Warcraft like a normal player. Nothing else.

Just a note to let you all know that I’ll be out of town from Friday, July 16th til the 24th, so don’t be alarmed when you don’t see my sparkling presence on the front page or in the forums after 5 pm today. My fiancee and I are taking the train to Connecticut (because I get most of my travel comped thanks to my work on the account) to visit her folks…

And finally, thank God, after 7 years, get married! YAY!!!!

We met a little bit over 7 years ago on AOL (say nothing, vermin!) and from the minute I heard her voice on the phone, I knew I was going to marry this woman. Our lives have sometimes been rough, but they’ve always been good when I’m with her. If you’ll forgive the mushiness, I hope everyone is as blessed as I feel I am for having someone so wonderful to spend my life with.

We accept gifts of all denomations, so long as the bank will turn them into dollars. :)

Finally the site passed the check. To achieve that I had to remove all the target=”_blank” links that I often use. I hope to integrate the BBcode module so that thing had to go anyway.

I’m also working on the structure of the site to understand how Drupal works and how I can manage at best the four-page layout I had in the other MT-powered blog (Cesspit, F00lies, Ravings and Bloggie). Then the hardest part will be about moving the MT database to Drupal since I don’t want to keep both.

I’m tired of Movabletype and I’m going to rework everything around here under Post Nuke.

EDIT-2: I’ve worked with PostNuke for a few hours to discover that if I want to customize it I have to rewrite all its PHP. It’s insanely idiotic and overly complex even if you want to change the color scheme. So I wiped it all. Now I’m fiddling with this one.

It’s way better but there’s nearly zero support, the manual is basically empty.

I messed with the CSS and now comments should be usable. There are still many quirks to solve and the preview function is still badly broken.
