All the development teams at Blizzard and Blizzard North have created their own game engines. However, both teams consult quite a bit with each other and share information to make both team stronger.
After Mythic attempt at making me laugh, SOE has managed to surpass every possible limit of the idiocy.

For the news: They are removing the possibility to use recursive macros inside Star Wars Galaxies. The interface was built to allow them, even at an high degree of complexity (let’s say that it’s probably the olny working thing in the game). A good amount of the gameplay has been designed with that concept in mind. Now they are going back. Obviously the players are generally rejoicing because they think that the problem will be solved.
Even the announce itself doesn’t makes sense. It explains (stupidly) why macros have been implemented and why it’s not useful to fight against them. But then reveals that it’s exactly what is going to happen.
Amazing.
I could or couldn’t write an article about this tomorrow. Depending on my mood.
The site is now live. I’ve decided to just stick with Drupal, at least for now. I’ve worked all day to improve the layout and I’ve managed to make some steps forward. Not every part of the site is complete but it’s enough to be used without too many problems.
Disclaimer: This site focuses on MMORPGs. It is mantained by only one eccentric person with a strong passion (vocation) for this genre and a vain desire to move from being just an observer to offer a concrete, direct contribute and be part of it. Since this is seen as -impossible-, the author cohabits with an high degree of frustration that may spring into an aggressive stance toward developers or a sudden, apparently unmotivated, shutdown of the site.
