There’s one impressive mod<\/a> that really improves considerably the graphic quality of the far clip plane in Oblivion. No more muddy textures!<\/p>\n

There’s a demonstration screenshot<\/a> showing the result.<\/p>\n

I tested it and there’s absolutely no impact on the FPS.<\/p>\n

And it looks amazing. Impressive. In some parts it looks BETTER than the narrow terrain (which has the awful “tiled” effect).<\/p>\n

Consider that this is just the beginning. The guy who did that mod just took the “soup” textures, enlarged them and sharpened them. Someone with a bit of skill could actually add much more detail and make the transition even more smooth.<\/p>\n

Here starts the 360 jealousy toward PC-only mods ;)<\/p>\n
